Child Safety Standards
NexSpark LLC · Last updated: July 19, 2026
NexSpark is an adults-only matchmaking service. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, on our platform or in connection with our service, and we take active steps to prevent, detect, and respond to it.
Who can use NexSpark
- NexSpark is restricted to adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create or hold an account.
- Before an introduction is made, members complete identity and age verification through a trusted third-party provider, which may include government-ID checks, selfie/liveness checks, and automated age estimation, to help confirm that every member meets our minimum age requirement.
- If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, or was created to target, groom, or exploit a minor, we permanently remove that account and any associated content.
Our standards on CSAE
NexSpark strictly prohibits, and will not knowingly host, facilitate, or permit:
- Any sexual content, message, image, or solicitation involving, appearing to involve, or referencing a minor.
- Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for a sexual or exploitative purpose.
- Trafficking, recruitment, or endangerment of a minor for any purpose.
- Any other content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child, whether or not it involves an actual identifiable minor.
These standards apply on the NexSpark platform (profiles, messages, and any media shared through the service) and to any conduct connected to NexSpark that we become aware of.
How we detect and respond
- Age-gating and verification. Every member goes through identity and age verification before receiving introductions, as described above.
- Moderated messaging. Early conversations happen through our platform, where our team can review reports and moderate abusive, fraudulent, or exploitative content.
- Human review. Reports involving suspected CSAE are treated as our highest priority and are reviewed promptly by a trained member of our team.
- In-app and email reporting. Members can report any profile, message, or behavior directly from within the app, or by emailing our safety team (see below). Reports are never ignored.
- Immediate action on CSAM. If we obtain actual knowledge of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our service, we remove it immediately, permanently ban the associated account, preserve evidence as required by law, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement as legally required.
- Cooperation with authorities. We cooperate with law enforcement and legal process concerning suspected CSAE, consistent with applicable law.
How to report a concern
If you see or experience anything that concerns you, including anything you believe may involve a minor, please report it right away:
We review every report. You will never be penalized for reporting a genuine safety concern in good faith.
